Newport Music Hall

So I went to Newport Music Hall last night with Alyssa, Sara, and Alyssa's new boyfriend Ben for the 'Before We Forget' special guests weekend. They had 2 stages of music going, one stage after the other with like 15+ bands. We missed Permenant Me play...but we got to hang with Bandcamp almost the entire time we were there. We got there at 6:30 and left at 10:30...Bandcamp went on at about 9:30 or so. Poor Sean was tired and slept leaning against the wall behind their merch table for a little while after we got there. We talked to Matt and Steve for a bit and listened to music on Alyssa and Ben's cell phones...it was amusing. The band that went on before Bandcamp was alright, screamo and the lead singer took off his pants and sang in his boxers. There were a bunch of guys jumping around and pushing each other in the middle of the pit. Then Bandcamp went on, we stood in front of Sean ^^
They played, "Top Of The World", "Rebel", "Someone", "Situation Lose Lose", "One Day", and "Thinking About You"...then they got caught off from their last song. I think they were going to do "Cry My Love Goodbye"...it sucked they got cut-off. I wanted to hear that and "Skeleton's Belts" Alyssa has really wanted "Brightest Dark" forever. I wish we could go to the show in Cincinnati tomorrow...but we don't have a ride :(
I can't wait for their new album though and I'm going to miss them lots. Sara got her neck signed by Steve and Sean. I was going to have them all sign my shoes...but they kept disappearing. And then I guess I was too afraid to get Sean to do it while he was sitting there after signing Sara's neck--I don't know. Oh well. Next time. Next time I'll be more hyper and fun hopefully. Steve made me dance with him a little after they went on and that was fun :) He's so funny.
I'm so tired right now. My mom woke me up at quarter to 4....for their send-off and then I couldn't get back to bed. I had fun today though, got to see Anthony, twice. Slept for a few hours at his house. Tomorrow I'm hanging out with Dave and Becca in the morning, helping out with some things and then getting a free lunch with them :)

Nervous Wreck

So my mom had her surgery today...I of course was a nervous wreck all morning and afternoon. I'll explain...
My mom, stepdad, and aunt all left to go to the hospital at OSU at 5:30am. I woke up at 6:30 and the paranoia began right away. My brothers woke up a little later and came in and bugged me around 8:30-9:00. I immediately started watching Boys And Girls [I love that movie] At like 10:40 I went outside witht he boys to watch them ride their bikes and talked to our neighbor, Sharon, across the street. We went in at like 11:15. I went back to watching Boys & Girls for like the 3rd time I think. I watched it a total of like 6 1/2 times to pass time. I didn't even look at a clock. I finally got a call from my stepdad around 2-2:30 saying my mom was out of surgery and everything went well. So I was relieved. They just didn't get her into a room yet--they had her in the recovery area.
So I went on the computer while my brothers played and watched tv. I made lunch for them around 4...and got a call from my aunt telling me they still didn't have a freakin' room for her. That not as many patients were discharged like they thought would be...and then they had an emergency to take care of. My stepdad and aunt finally came home around 5-5:30. Then at about 6:20 or so the doctor calls up saying my mom FINALLY got a room. And the nurse's say she'll be able to come home tomorrow afternoon most likely. Then at about 7-7:30...my mom calls! She sounded very tired and somewhat weak but she was okay...she was wondering where my stepdad, Bill was since he was supposed to be there to visit her and stay with her. he left after that. Now I'm just chilling..I ate...I'm relaxing...still a bit in paranoid-mode for some reason...and I'm exhausted.
I also won't be able to go anywhere or do anything for about a week 'cause I have to help my aunt Lilly here with my little brothers while my mom is recovering and Bill is working. I can't wait for the Bandcamp concert though. Alyssa wants me over tomorrow night 'cause her mom wants to cook me a late b-day dinner since I only saw them for a little bit on my b-day. And Anthony wants to have a cookout either friday or saturday night. My mom said we'll see how she's doing and maybe I'll be able to go to both and the Bandcamp concert as well ^^ Alyssa, Sarah, and Ryan are going along with me to the concert.

HAPPY B-DAY TO ME!

Yay! I'm uber excited to be 17! ^^

Well my Anthony, Dave, and Becca took me [and dave technically...since his b-day was monday the 18th] to Mongolian BBQ and it was AWESOME! As usual. Anthony and I had 3 bowls and they played good music while we were up at the cooking wheel. Dave and Becca had like 1 bowl each. They messed up our first bowls...and Becca threw a fit and the manage went and cooked her next bowl seperately--and she liked it. The rest of the bowls turned out delicious. They made Becca's bowl free and gave us the best dessert they had on the menu for free--which was like a 4 person frickin' dessert in a giant cool-looking glass goblet. I don't know how anyone could finish that by themselves if they actually ate Mongolian too lol. It was vanilla ice cream with a giant brownie in it and caramel and fudge dribbled all over it. It was the best! Anthony ended up paying for me...since on his b-day I paid for him :) I love him.
Then we went back to Anthony's house and lounged around, digesting for awhile. Then we beat Super Mario World [I got to beat Bowser! Yay!] And that was about it. It was just a great day and a great 17th b-day ^^

Ryan still owes me Waffle House and 5 bucks from monday night though :-P

WHOOT!

So yeah GET THIS! My mom finally decided I can date Anthony! WHOOOO!!!!! hehe...so yeah I'm with my Lover Boy officially now :) Yay!
Umm...college is going to be a bitch once I get to OSU...they're scheduling sucks apparently and they're more unorganized than Columbus State--luckily I'll be going to CSCC next winter and NOT OSU just yet :-P
Yeah I was at OSU for 6 hours for orientation with Anthony since he just transferred there from CSCC for Autumn quarter...though he may be going there for summer quarter instead--starting this monday the 18th--the day before my 17th b-day! [17th b-day whoot! :-P ]
Umm...hooray for engineers!? Even if I get the GEC's all done within the first 2 years of going to college [at CSCC] I'll still most likely be in college for another 2-3 years once I transfer to OSU unless I somehow cram classes in and not work and not take vacations and whatnot [bye bye life lol] But they most likely won't even let me take more than 6-9 credit hour courses per quarter...which sucks...that's what they're trying to do to Anthony right now. So he may be waiting to go to OSU until fall quarter anyway and just taking a class or two at CSCC for the summer. We'll hopefully know tomorrow.
And that's about it...summer seems so unorganized and rather bothersome so far. I kinda wish it was over already.

Oh yeah I should probably update huh?

So the Bandcamp show saturday night at The Basment was awesome! St3ve changed his hair! It's not straighht and jet black and longer on one side than the other...and I think I bit shorter than it was before--it's frickin' sweet as hell! Anthony went with me and Alys. I finally got him to go to a concert! Whoot! And he enjoyed it lots so he might be going to the next Bandcamp show on June 30th at Newport Music hall! Whoo!!! ^^
But yeah, St3ve threw the cup he was drinking out of off stage to Alyssa--she kept it hahaha...shoved it in my skull bag :-P Poor Sean was tired...and Kris was playing Billyat pool when we first got there. My little brothers were very excited that the guys signed a poster I got for them--they can't wait to see 'em...they have to do a Best Buy show so my brothers can go.
I also hope they play "Brightest Dark", "Cammans", "Celebrity", "The Perfect Song", "Natalie Crush", etc etc...hehe...yeah I love all of their songs...can't wait to hear what's on their next album :)

Although things took a turn for the worst on Sunday...we had to put Alyssa's [And mine pretty much] 9 year old ferret, Meeko to sleep....I helped pick her out and name her when she was a baby....it was really sad...it sucked. And then I also missed my friend Becca's graduation party at the Y...I was angry 'cause I really wanted to go to that and swim and hangout with my friends and shit. But she failed to tell me [or Anthony] when exactly the damn thing was and Anthony ended up calling me at like 6:40...telling me that Laura had just called him asking him where he was 'cause the party started at 6...I was stuck babyshitting my little brothers overnight with Alyssa...my mom took my stepdad out 'cause his b-day was saturday the 26th [same day as the show]. So I missed the swimming...and Rocky Horror Picture Show...and Becca screaming at the Y and quitting as she stormed out. Apparently they were supposed to have the pool until 9...and they kicked them out at 8--all 130 guests...

Oh well. I still got to see Anthony yesterday and today and watched Grey's Anatomy and apply at some places for a job and pass both of the exams I had today ^^

Just lyrics I wrote the other day 'cause I've been really apathetic lately...due to some second-hand, off-brand shit medication I've been on...and I can't help the loss of emotion and motivation. It randomly comes and goes and lately it's been rough and coming more often and staying longer and affecting my sleep drastically. And it's been upsetting and frustrating some people--you know who you are and I'm sorry...this is for you in a way...
I do hope this can one day be an acoustic song maybe...though I can't play guitar at all :-P

Okay so I spent thursday-sunday with Anthony...and Dave and Becca were with us most of the time as well. We all went to the Waffle House on friday for a late lunch/early dinner...we went to one out in BFE--tractor country lol. But it was great compared to the one on roberts like 8 minutes away.
Sunday, before I hungout with Anthony, my mom and I went to Tuttle mall. I got my ear pierced again [3rd peircing on one ear in the cartilage near the top of my ear-- I'm done now. I have 3 on one ear and two on the other]. Suprisingly enough, this one doesn't really hurt at all. I had it peirced just below where it is now about 4-5 years ago and they tell you that you can change the earring after 6 months...and so I did and the one I used fell out while I was sleeping and closed up overnight. I was pissed. That's NOT supposed to happen that quickly...but oh well. I got over it. And I didn't want to pop the earring back in since my ear was just starting to feel better. So you can imagine my surprise and delight with this piercing...no constant throbbing, no sharp pain when you turn it or poke at it or clean it. I can even lay on it and shit. Fun fun ^^
Oh I also got a dress for the special dinner thing Anthony and I have been wanting to do for nearly 3 years now--though now it's turned into him taking me out, no complaints here :) I got some high-heel shoes..though the heels aren't that tall at all and are the inch wide ones so I won't fall and have it turn into Miss Congeniality all over again lol. I got some more earrings as well from hot topic....and a pair of earrings with a matching necklace for the dress. I'll also be wearing the dress, shoes, and jewelry for my cousin's wedding August 4th--assuming I'm able to make it out to NY after all. I hope so.
My mom got some disturbing news that may put a hitch in some of my summer plans...But due to the circumstances, I can't blame her or really be mad at her for it.
That's about it other than I can't wait for the Bandcamp concert here on May 26th. That's also the same day as my stepdad's b-day...And I'm singing again in Gallery X--this time called gallery Y...the staff sent me a personal invite saying they wanted me to be in it again at the beginning of May. Whoot...ugh I have a bad headache...lol...

Easter gifts and stuff

So it's been awhile since I've posted anything, I know. After Long Island things took a turn for the worst for about a week or so...I'm not getting into that though it's personal.But things have been looking way up since then. I've got love in my life...in more ways than one ^^
For easter me and my little brothers got a baby bunny! She's adorable and sweet and mellow as hell. She doesn't bite and just chills in your arms when you hold her and hops around sniffing curiously at everything and nibbling things she finds interesting--but never people's skin...she licks on occasion and nibbles on socks and rugs. She also stands up some to have a better look at bigger objects :-P [I have pics of her up so check 'em out!] My youngest brother wouldn't stand for any other name aside from Carrot...my other little brother liked Hershey...my mom said Hershey Carrot....I call her Baby, Bunny, or my Baby Bunny..so she's got like 6 names lol--she's loved lots :D
I also got some candy and a few movies as well--Never Been Kissed, Sweet Home Alabama, and The Ron Clark Story...oh and The Bachelor is my mom's I guess lol. I've finally seen Guardian too, great movie!
All in all things are going great now. I've got my Baby Bunny, a Bandcamp show here in Columbus I'm looking forward to at the end of May--the 26th to be precise, and a 17th B-day plus summer coming up rather quickly ^^ WHOOT! <333
That's about it...Ryan and I might be doing Gallery X again in May...and there's a bunch of other awesome stuff coming up in May and June :)
